Intelligent Multimodal Participants are extensions to virtual environments. The IMPs available from this site are built to take advantage of features available in CVW, but the techniques that these IMPs use are applicable to any and all environments. To learn more about CVW, see the Collaborative Virtual Workspace.
IMPs are an easy way to add new functionality to the CVW environment without making changes to the CVW server or any of the CVW clients. There are two examples included on this site, a simple development version, and a more complicated Logging IMP.
IMPs are distributed under the CVW Open Source License.
